About the Role
As an Event Technician Specialist, you’ll lead and support virtual and hybrid meetings using Zoom Webinar and CondoVoter’s proprietary platform. You’ll act as the technical host, ensuring meetings start on time, run smoothly, and provide a professional experience. Responsibilities include:
Meeting Moderation & Hosting
● Act as technical host for virtual and hybrid condo board meetings
● Conduct pre-meeting rehearsals with panelists
● Manage live Q&A periods
● Share and manage visuals (reports, slides, ballots)
● Launch and oversee secure voting
● Provide in-meeting tech support
In-Person Support
● Attend occasional in-person hybrid meetings to assist with on-site setup
● Ensure smooth audio/visual integration for hybrid setups
Post-Meeting Follow-Up
● Complete moderator summaries and submit meeting reports
● Flag issues or recommendations for continuous improvement
Who You Are
● 2+ years experience in customer service, events, or tech support
● Confident public speaker with clear, professional tone
● Proficient with Zoom Webinar
● Comfortable troubleshooting live tech issues under pressure
● Organized, proactive, and detail-oriented
● Calm, courteous, and composed in virtual and in-person settings
● Reliable with strong time management and independent work ability
Bonus Points:
● Experience in property management or condo AGMs
● Audio/Visual setup knowledge for hybrid events
● Typing speed 50+ WPM
● Bilingual (French/English or other languages)
Technical Requirements
● High-speed wired internet
● Desktop/laptop with camera (dual monitors preferred)
● Reliable headset/microphone
● Quiet, professional home workspace
● Vehicle access + valid Class G licence (for in-person meetings)
Work Hours & Compensation
● Monday–Thursday, 5:00 PM–10:00 PM (occasional mornings/weekends)
● CA$25–CA$31/hour
● Gas reimbursement for travel to in-person meetings
