Position Overview:
Woodside Landscapes & Renovations is currently hiring a skilled, motivated, and detail-oriented Landscape Labourer to join our team on a seasonal basis. The ideal candidate has flexible availability to work 30-40 hours a week, although hours may vary. A minimum 1-2 years experience with landscaping and hardscaping is a must. We are a small company looking to find hard working individuals who get pride out of a job well done!
Pay will be based on experience and will range from $21 to $26/hr. Starting wages will be reviewed throughout the season, performance based raises are possible.

Woodside Landscapes & Renovations is a small business in Kitchener-Waterloo with experience installing quality interlock and flagstone patios, as well as decorative gardens and edible landscapes. We have the skills to assist you in the process of landscape design all the way through to creating a beautifully finished product. We pride ourselves in excellent craftsmanship combined with thoughtful customer care - just ask our repeat customers!
What You Will Do:
- Landscaping tasks including: digging, planting, seeding, weeding, pruning, watering, and mulching
- Use hand tools effectively to complete landscaping tasks
- Operate power tools safely and efficiently, such as: lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, grinders, stone saws, etc.
- Assist in building hardscape features such as patios, walkways, water features, and retaining walls
- Follow project plans and instructions to ensure high quality results
- Perform tasks including installing base material, levelling, installing pavers, and cutting various materials
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Perform other related duties as assigned

Working Conditions:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends (as needed, voluntary)
- Prolonged periods of standing, walking, lifting, kneeling
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years experience in landscaping and hardscaping (required)
- Driver's License with personal vehicle (preferred)
- Heavy machinery experience an asset
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to follow instructions
Language:
- Working proficiency English (required)
Work Location:
- Travel required to multiple locations throughout Waterloo Region
