Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Case Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing support and services to clients, managing case files, and coordinating resources effectively. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a dynamic environment that values strong communication, organizational skills, and cultural competence. The role requires a combination of administrative expertise, client interaction, and project management capabilities, utilizing various computer applications to ensure efficient case management and service delivery.

Responsibilities
• Manage and maintain detailed client records using databases such as Microsoft Access, SharePoint, and other record-keeping systems
• Prepare, review, and submit complete and accurate immigration applications, including but not limited to:
• Study Permit
• Visitor Visa
• Work Permit (including open and employer-specific)
• LMIA (Labour Market Impact Assessment)
• Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) applications
• Express Entry (Federal Skilled Worker, CEC, FST)
• Spousal and Family Sponsorship applications
• Refused or returned cases (reassessment, justification letters, re-submissions)
• Ensure deadlines are met and applications are submitted within prescribed timelines.
• Monitor application progress and follow up with IRCC, Service Canada, and provincial authorities as needed.
• Ensure all submissions meet current Canadian immigration regulations and guidelines.
• Draft cover letters, submission letters, and detailed case notes as needed.
• Analyze refusal reasons and prepare reconsideration or appeal documentation where applicable.
• Ensure strict confidentiality and security of client information.
• Coordinate with clients to assess their needs and develop appropriate service plans
• Conduct analysis of client data to inform case strategies and program improvements
• Demonstrate leadership qualities by guiding less experienced team members when necessary
• Apply negotiation skills to coordinate resources or resolve conflicts effectively
• Manage time efficiently to handle multiple cases simultaneously while adhering to deadlines

Qualifications
• Proven experience in administrative roles or case management preferred
• Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Microsoft Access, Microsoft Project, SharePoint, Windows operating system, and databases management
• Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret data accurately
• Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in records management and filing systems
• Effective written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Demonstrated customer service experience with a focus on client satisfaction
• Ability to manage multiple priorities through effective time management techniques
• Leadership qualities with the capacity for teamwork and independent problem-solving
• Experience with project management tools and procedures is advantageous

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 per week
