Sales Intern - Philips PH South Africa
Role: Sales Intern (graduate programme)
Location: Johannesburg, South Africa
Start date: 1st June 2026
Duration: 12 months

We have been successfully running the Internship programme in South Africa for the last six years and next year again we are expecting to bring onboard talented fresh graduates who will during the 12 months of internship not just learn to work but work to learn! In this role, you have the opportunity to make life better
You'll be working with a dynamic sales and marketing team on exciting and innovative Personal Health brands.
Key responsibilities:
· Support the Key Account managers and Sales team to manage all sales related activities, internally, as well as customer requests
· Manages all back-end support for sales and tracking process for South Africa
· Works and align with marketing, finance, pricing and logistics to drive deliverables needed to update activities.
· Perform administrative tasks like brand & competitor research, competitor pricing and market analysis, data entry & excel, meeting/ task scheduling, assist on presentations and Ad-hoc activities connected with supporting the sales team
· Assist with retailer promotional grids, consolidate and track on websites, in-stores and on broadsheets .
· Contribute to the preparation and release of promotional materials for launches and campaigns – new product listings, descriptions, spec sheet, barcode, images etc.
· Support with :Below the line/ Above the line materials for promotions and launches ; Support with conference, strategy meetings or customer in-store events & activations
· Participate regularly in brainstorming sessions for the development of local campaigns, and take detailed notes of meetings

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
• Bachelor’s degree/ Diploma in Sales or Marketing, or any other relevant field
• You must be a South African Graduate and have completed all modules/credits for the qualification mentioned above with a minimum of 60%.
• Qualifications obtained post -2022 will be preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Team player.
• Self-motivated and goal driven.
• Availability to work full time (40hours/ week – Hybrid)
