ReactJS / JavaScript Developer (Remote)

Job Overview
We’re looking for an experienced ReactJS / JavaScript Developer to join a growing tech consultancy delivering high-performance digital platforms. This role is fully remote and suited to someone passionate about building modern, scalable web applications.
You’ll work closely with a collaborative development team to create reusable components, contribute to frontend architecture, and help deliver best-in-class digital products for a range of clients.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop modern web applications using ReactJS and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Build reusable components and front-end libraries.
• Translate product requirements into clean, maintainable code.
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs and services.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise application performance.
• Follow best practices for development, testing, and deployment.
• Contribute to CI/CD workflows and version control processes.
• Ensure frontend security and performance standards are maintained.
• Mentor junior developers where needed.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Required Skills & Experience
• Proven experience as a ReactJS / JavaScript Developer.
• Strong JavaScript (ES6+), including React hooks and Context API.
• Solid HTML5/CSS3 and responsive design skills.
• Experience with component libraries such as Storybook (preferred).
• Familiarity with Git-based version control and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of frontend security best practices.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Passion for continuous learning and improvement.
Desirable
• Experience integrating React with Django or similar backends.
• Exposure to DevOps practices.
• Leadership or mentoring experience.
• Experience working in distributed teams.
