Key Responsibilities
Programme Support & Development
Assist the Remarketing Manager in the establishment and rollout of
BYD’s used car programme, including process documentation, system
setup, and dealer onboarding.
Help coordinate internal and external activities related to programme
implementation and dealer engagement.
Residual Value Tracking & Analysis
Maintain accurate records of vehicle resale values, depreciation trends,
and market benchmarks.
Support the tracking and reporting of residual value performance
across different models and regions.
Assist in compiling data to inform pricing strategies and support leasing
and financing decisions.
Leasing & Buy-Back Programme Administration
Play a key role in the administration of leasing and buy-back
programmes, ensuring vehicles are processed, tracked, and managed
professionally.
Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely
execution of programme milestones.
Maintain documentation and records related to vehicle returns, condition
assessments, and resale readiness.
Inventory & Operational Coordination
Track vehicle movements, reconditioning status, and readiness for resale.
Update and manage inventory databases and digital platforms used for
vehicle listings and dealer access.
Liaise with logistics providers, dealerships, and internal departments to
ensure smooth operations.
Dealer & Stakeholder Communication
Assist in communicating with dealers regarding vehicle availability,
pricing, programme updates, and documentation requirements.
Support dealer onboarding and training efforts related to the used car
programme.
Respond to routine dealer queries and escalate complex issues to the
Remarketing Manager.
Reporting & Data Management
Compile regular reports on vehicle turnover, residual value trends, dealer
engagement, and programme performance.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all systems and tools used in
the remarketing process.
Customer Experience Support
Help monitor customer feedback related to used vehicle purchases and
escalate concerns appropriately.
Support initiatives aimed at improving the customer journey and
satisfaction in the used car segment.
Qualifications & Experience
Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Automotive Management,
or related field preferred.
1–3 years’ experience in an administrative or operational role, ideally
within the automotive industry.
Experience with inventory management, data tracking, or vehicle resale
operations is advantageous.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with
CRM or inventory systems is a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, evolving
environment.
