Define and lead the Group’s technology strategy across Sudan, UAE, Bahrain, and subsidiaries. Oversee digital banking growth, modernize core banking platforms, and integrate fintech solutions with emerging technologies like AI/ML, blockchain, RPA, and open banking APIs.
• Manage group-wide IT infrastructure (data centres, cloud, networks, disaster recovery), enforce unified governance, and optimize multi-million-dollar budgets. Establish robust cybersecurity frameworks, deploy zero-trust security, and ensure regulatory compliance across jurisdictions.
• Foster a culture of digital innovation, lead and mentor IT teams across multiple markets, and partner with HR to recruit, retain, and upskill top talent.
• Build strong relationships with regulators, auditors, and external partners. Manage global vendor contracts, fintech partnerships, and technology SLAs.
Bachelor’s or master’s in computer science, IT, Engineering, or related field; MBA or equivalent executive qualification is an advantage.

Core Banking Platforms (Azentio, Temenos, Finacle, Flexcube)
o Financial Messaging & APIs (ISO 20022, SWIFT)
o Cybersecurity Frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, FFIEC)
o Cloud computing
o AI/ML (Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning)
o Blockchain
o Open Banking APIs
o Robotic Process Automation (RPA)
• Experience in multi-country banking operations (preferably in MENA or similar regions).
Professional certifications (any):
o CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
o CISM (Certified Information Security Manager)
o TOGAF (Enterprise Architecture Framework)
o PMP (Project Management Professional)
o ITIL (IT Service Management)
