Supporting IT/Cloud Project Delivery and Maintenance
Experience Required
• Storage and Virtualization Technologies
• Storage Arrays and Storage Virtualization; have knowledge of SCSA, iSCSI, Fibre, FCoE protocols, SAN, NAS, NFS, CIFS, SAS protocols
• Knowledge of storage architecture (DAS, NAS, SAN) and RAID technologies
• Knowledge of one or more VMWare vSphere / Hyper-v / Citrix Xenserver, VMware View / Microsoft VDI / XenDesktop, OpenStack
• Cluster or filesystem knowledge (VERITAS VxVM / VxFS and clusters
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Storage and Servers (Huawei / EMC / IBM / HP)
• OS and backup Technologies
• Unix, Linux and Windows OS administration (Windows Domain, Active Directory, DNS and Security)
• Basic Unix and Linux commands
• Backup Software: (BE NBU VEEAM)
• Fundamental knowledge of networking (OSI model, Routers, Switches, VLAN etc)
Qualifications
• 2 to 10 years experience across all industries
• Grade 12
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field
• Industry Specific Certifications (HP EMS VMWARE DELL) is preferable
• OWN VEHICLE ESSENTIAL
