Join a rapidly expanding, multi-site organization at a pivotal stage of growth. My client is seeking a hands-on, forward-thinking Controller who is energized by transformation, thrives in fast-paced environments, and wants to leave a lasting mark on a scaling business.
You’ll step into a high-visibility position where you’ll take ownership of strengthening the financial foundation: cleaning and optimizing existing records, implementing scalable systems, and establishing best-in-class processes. Just as importantly, you’ll play a key role in building and mentoring a high-performing accounting team that can support continued expansion.
Working directly with the VP of Finance, you’ll be a trusted partner in driving strategic initiatives, improving financial visibility, and enabling smarter, faster decision-making across the organization.

Responsibilities:
• Reorganize and strengthen financial records while implementing robust, scalable accounting processes.
• Navigate ambiguity with discretion, driving independent improvements across the accounting function
• Oversee and support the transition to new ERP and expense management systems
• Build and develop the accounting team, proactively identifying and recommending future hiring needs in line with company growth
• Establish and uphold strong financial controls, ensuring full compliance with applicable accounting standards.
• Support balance sheet remediation efforts and lead or contribute to special projects as required.
Qualifications:
• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience. At least 2+ years in a Controller role, or Assistant Controller/Accounting Manager ready for that next step
• CPA designation is preferred
• Experience in a multi-site environment with a strong understanding of intercompany transactions
• Strong work ethic and capability to work independently
• Proficiency with QuickBooks and NetSuite is an asset
