We are looking for a Packaging Operator to join our growing team on the Day shift.
• *Job Summary**:
The Packaging Operator will be responsible for machine operation on one of our three packaging lines (Two can lines and one bottle line). The positions vary in complexity but the start to finish process includes can/bottle de-palletizing, rinsing, filling, seaming, pasteurization and packing.
• *Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Ensure the safe and efficient operation of a high-speed bottling/canning equipment and materials
- Compliance with health & safety, regulatory and Good Manufacturing Practice requirements
- Packaging Operators are expected to be multi-skilled and flexible in a fast-paced and dynamic manufacturing environment.
- Must be able to reliably work **continental shifts;** which includes every other weekend.
• *Education, Skills, and Experience**:
- Strong communication skills
- Demonstrate good mechanical aptitude
- Demonstrate good physicality - standing, bending, twisting, lifting, climbing, etc.
- Ability to build positive relationships across the organization
- Solution mindset to issues and challenges
- Results-driven, able to get tasks completed, with a "right the first time" mindset
