A well-established specialist retailer in the power tool and woodworking industry is currently expanding its sales team and looking to appoint Junior Sales Consultants to assist customers on the shop floor.
The business has been operating for more than 40 years and is widely recognised for its knowledgeable service and loyal customer base. Customers range from DIY enthusiasts and tradespeople to serious woodworking professionals.
This position is suited to someone who enjoys working with people, has an interest in tools or technical products, and would like to build a career in a specialised retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist walk-in customers on the sales floor
• Help customers select suitable tools and accessories
• Provide friendly, knowledgeable customer service
• Support the sales team in achieving sales targets
• Maintain a clean, organised and well-stocked sales floor
• Assist with stock counts and general store operations
What We Are Looking For
• Matric (Grade 12)
• Strong customer service skills
• Basic computer literacy
• Interest in tools, DIY, woodworking or technical products
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Retail experience and a valid driver’s licence will be advantageous.
Training and Development
The successful candidates will receive training and mentoring from experienced senior sales consultants. Over time, you will develop product knowledge and technical expertise within the power tool and woodworking industry.

Working Hours
Monday to Friday: 08h00 – 17h00
Saturday: 09h00 – 14h00
Remuneration
Entry-level salary with a performance-based commission structure.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: R7 000,00 per month
