• *Job Overview**
As a Parts & Service Advisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers receive the right parts for their automotive needs. You will be responsible for assist managing inventory, assisting customers with their inquiries, and providing exceptional service to enhance their experience. This position requires strong communication skills and a passion for the automotive industry.
• *Duties**
- This dual position would be spent checking off morning order, organizing daily parts deliveries.
- Organizing & putting away incoming stock and when necessary.
- Assisting with technicians and looking after warranty bin.
- Assist with parts retail counter tasks, answer wholesale phones and jump in for any local parts deliveries when needed.
- Assist customers in identifying and locating the correct automotive parts and accessories.
- Manage inventory levels to ensure availability of parts while minimizing excess stock.
- Process sales transactions accurately using POS systems and handle cashiering duties.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Maintain organized records of parts orders, sales, and customer interactions.
- Collaborate with the service department to support technicians with parts requirements.
- Utilize Excel for tracking inventory and generating reports as needed.
- Stay informed about market trends and new products to effectively advise customers.
• *Skills**
- Strong background in automotive repair is beneficial for understanding customer requirements.
- Excellent phone etiquette to communicate professionally with customers over the phone.
- Proven customer service skills to create a positive experience for clients.
- Sales experience is advantageous for promoting products effectively.
- Familiarity with cashiering processes and handling transactions efficiently.
- Proficiency in Excel for data management and reporting purposes.
- Experience with POS systems to streamline sales processes.
- Previous CDK DMS system would be an asset
