Job description
Hourly $19.00 -$24.00 (based on experience)
Four days per week.
Seasonal (Start date Flexible- April/ May)
Suitable for Post Secondary Students or someone returning to workforce
Own Transportation Required
Our team needs extra helping hands to get us through our busy season. Orchid Gardenscapes is an established, detail-oriented gardening company. We work hard Monday-Friday rejuvenating and maintaining beautiful residential landscapes in the KW area.
Successful applicants will
• Have own transportation to our work sites in Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding area. This is a 'must' as many of our sites are not on bus routes.
• Be capable of working manually for 7-9 hours outdoors doing various tasks in all types of weather.
• Be strong and fit enough to move a wheelbarrow of mulch and to squat many times per day.
• Detail oriented and patient enough to weed gardens and tend to plants.
• Have an optimistic and enthusiastic attitude for life and learning.
This entry-mid level position is open to all applicants who feel they meet the above criteria. We will consider all resumes and are willing to train the people who are right for the job.
Priority will be given to those applicants who have
• Previous landscape or agriculture work experience
• Previous manual labour experience
• Experience driving a truck with trailer (will add pay premium)
• Excellent references
