Eduvos is looking to employ a social media and PR Specialist on a permanent basis. The role may be based at any of our national campuses.

Purpose of the role:
The Social Media and PR Specialist is responsible for developing and executing effective social media and public relations activity that enhances the visibility, reputation, and engagement of Eduvos as a leading private higher education institution.
This role requires a confident, detail-oriented communicator with a passion for storytelling, a strong understanding of digital and media landscapes, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external PR agency partners. The role sits at the intersection of content, community, reputation, and brand.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum qualification:
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field
Minimum experience:
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in social media and PR or communications roles
• Experience within higher education, education, or a complex brand environment (advantageous)
• Experience working alongside a PR or communications agency
• Familiarity with SEO, content marketing, and analytics
• Established or developing media relationships, preferably within education or related sectors
Duties and Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities:
Social Media Content & Storytelling (Core Focus)
• Create engaging posts, reels, carousels, and stories that reflect the Eduvos tone of voice, values, and One Eduvos positioning
• Write clear, compelling captions that speak to prospective students, parents, and the wider Eduvos community
• Work closely with designers, videographers, academics, alumni, and campus teams to surface and tell authentic Eduvos stories
• Ensure all content is accurate, on-brand, and aligned with institutional messaging
Planning & Execution
• Support the development and execution of social media content plans aligned with Eduvos campaigns, enrolment periods, Open Days, and key institutional priorities
• Manage and maintain content calendars, ensuring deadlines are met and content is delivered to a high standard
• Align social media activity with broader marketing and communications objectives
Platform Management
• Manage day-to-day activity across Eduvos’ social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and others as required
• Schedule and publish content using Meta Business Suite, or similar tools
• Monitor platform performance and ensure consistent quality, tone, and visual standards across all channels
Community Management
• Engage with the Eduvos community by responding to comments, messages, and reviews professionally and empathetically, this includes our social platforms, Google Reviews, and HelloPeter.
• Managing mailboxes (marketing and pressoffice)
• Foster positive interaction and meaningful engagement across platforms
• Escalate sensitive issues or queries in line with Eduvos guidelines and internal processes
Paid Social Support
• Support paid social campaigns by collaborating with and assisting with campaign setup, A/B testing, and optimisation
• Work closely with the marketing team to support enrolment-driven and high-impact institutional campaigns
Reporting & Insights
• Track social media performance metrics and audience behaviour
• Contribute to monthly reporting and insights that inform content optimisation and strategic decision-making
• Use data to continuously improve content effectiveness and audience engagement
Public Relations Support
• Support PR initiatives in collaboration with the Head of Marketing and Communications and the external PR agency
• Contribute to press releases, media statements, and PR content as required
• Coordinate the agency with media requests, interviews, and internal approvals
• Monitor media coverage and assist with reporting on PR outcomes and sentiment
Collaboration
• Work closely with marketing, design, PR, academic faculties, alumni, sales, and campus teams on campaigns, attending Open Days, events, and content initiatives
• Collaborate with the external PR agency to ensure aligned messaging and timing
• Support a cohesive, integrated One Eduvos brand approach across all channels
