Position Title: QA Automation Analyst
Location: Hybrid, Washington, D.C.
Clearance: Must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain a U.S. Federal government client badge and be required to pass a government Public Trust background investigation.
Position Overview: Indev is seeking an experienced QA Automation Analyst to join one of our federal projects supporting Department of Transportation in Washington, D.C. This is a fantastic opportunity to leverage your previous QA experience and expertise. Your skillset will be integral to ensuring the utmost quality of a new Salesforce solution.

Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Provide quality assurance expertise for the modernization of a federal database using the Salesforce platform.
• Participate in the requirements gathering and analysis and provide insight on potential quality issues
• Develop automated and manual testing solutions based on customer requirements
• Validation of new applications meet 508 compliance
• Work closely with the Software Architect, Developers and other technical team members to review implementations and provide testing feedback.
• Perform regression testing after updates or addition of new features to ensure original capabilities have not been affected
• Utilize tracking tool (e.g., Jira) to detail test cases, results, defects and additional feedback
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline.
• 5+ years functional experience.
• 3+ years of specialized experience.
• Solid understanding of Salesforce architecture and API solutions.
• Experience working with Agile boards in Jira and Confluence.
• Proficiency with test case creation, execution, and defect tracking in Salesforce applications.
• Develop testing scenarios for usability testing and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Conduct regression testing and effectively manage the defect management process.
• Apply expert knowledge of both manual and automated testing methodologies to develop a testing approach based on system documentation and requirements analysis.
• Collaborate closely with business and technical stakeholders to comprehend system requirements, design, and the impact of system modifications.
• Superb communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
Nice to have’s:
• Active Public Trust clearance, preferably with the Department of Transportation.
• Salesforce Public Sector Solutions Accredited Professional and any other Salesforce certifications.
• Familiarity with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, or MuleSoft.
