We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Junior Teacher to join our growing Houghton branch. The successful candidate will implement our unique 3-Pillar Method of teaching (Core Knowledge, Guided Application, and Independent Mastery) to ensure academic excellence and emotional growth for our learners. Key Responsibilities Curriculum Delivery: Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in accordance with the Cambridge curriculum and the Studler 3-Pillar philosophy. Assessment & Tracking: Conduct regular assessments to monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback for independent mastery. Classroom Management: Maintain a disciplined, supportive, and engaging classroom environment conducive to learning. Administrative Compliance: Ensure all learner records, including LURITS and attendance data, are accurately maintained and synchronized with school systems. Parent Communication: Build professional relationships with parents and provide regular updates on student performance and well-being. Minimum Requirements Educational Background: A completed BCOM (B.Ed) or a relevant degree with a PGCE. Regulatory Compliance: * Valid registration with the South African Council for Educators (SACE). Compliance with all Department of Basic Education (DBE) teaching regulations. A clear criminal record check (specifically against the National Register for Sex Offenders). Skills: Excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a passion for working with primary-aged learners. Working Hours 07:30 – 15:00, Monday to Friday. Occasional attendance at staff meetings and school events as required.
